Japanese Chef (Full Time)
Working for Shogun Japanese Restaurants, you will be cooking in front of customers on Teppan tables.
You will prepare fresh meat and fish from the market for cooking at teppan, assisting the Head Chef.
Other duties will include stock control and other duties as directed by the Head Chef.
You must be able to demonstrate previous experience in this environment and be able to cook and prepare Japanese starters and specialities.
Trainee Japanese Chef (Full Time)
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is willing to train as a specialised teppan-yaki chef.
You will be working along side fully trained, high skilled chef's who will teach you all the rudiments of this specialised skill.
NVQ level 3 is required along with any previous catering experience.
Restaurant Manager (Full Time)
We are looking for an outgoing, go-getting attitude for this very demanding position.
More importantly you will be a person who relishes pressure and can withstand constant stress.
Diplomacy in dealing with both customers and staff is essential.
At least three years solid experience in running a restaurant is required.
Waiting Staff (Full & Part Time)
We are looking for polite and enthusiastic people to wait on our clients.
Previous experience would be preferred but is not essential as full training will be given.
Kitchen Porter
A Kitchen Porter is required for our busy kitchens.
Experience is not essential but lots of energy is a must..
